When our community thrives, we all thrive. The Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre believes in giving back and is actively involved in the Cambridge community. Here are just a few ways that we contribute to our community.
The Bridges offers 80 emergency shelter beds for men and women experiencing homelessness. We also have 20 bachelor apartments on site which provide full-time support to those who are in transition from the shelter to the community. We focus on making a positive difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region (WCSWR) empowers and supports women* and children to move beyond violence by providing safe shelter, education and outreach services. WCSWR operates two emergency shelters for women and children experiencing domestic violence.
Our involvement is to provide dinner at the shelter on a monthly basis.

The Heart & Stroke Big Bike is a team-building event geared towards corporations, community organizations and groups of like-minded individuals. Teams of enthusiastic riders, who each commit to raise $50 or more, support heart and stroke research by booking a ride on the Heart & Stroke Big Bike.

Best Bites – Taste of the Region is a gourmet garden party where some of the best chefs from the Cambridge area create and serve up scrumptious samples from their menus in support of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Rotary Club. This annual event which raises money for two wonderful organizations also features wine and microbrewery sampling, live music, auction, and other fun activities.
Our chefs participate annually to support this great event.
Waterloo Region Tacofest promises three things: tacos, craft beer, and good times. Proceeds from the event will support Community Support Connections, a local charity that works with hundreds of local volunteers to help over 6,600 people live happily and healthy in the comfort of their own homes.
Our team from The Bruce Craft House participates in this event annually serving up great food for a great cause.

The Cambridge Food Bank serves the City of Cambridge and the Township of North Dumfries, which together have a population of 145,000 people. Deeply rooted in the communities we serve, we support people to access healthy food and opportunity.
